The Terania Creek rainforest protests, sometimes called 'the Battle for Terania' comprised a long-term demonstration beginning in about August, 1979 at Terania Creek, in Australia's Rainbow Region near Nimbin.

It was a protest, conducted by many hundreds of people camped on location over many weeks, to stop logging and became one of Australia's best-known actions against destruction of wilderness, and many of its strategies and tactics, and much of its culture, influenced later environmental campaigns locally and internationally.
